Salt Valley Vet was built around a simple idea: pets deserve high-quality medicine and a low-stress experience — and families deserve a veterinarian who knows them. We've earned a strong reputation in our community for advanced dentistry and soft tissue surgery; two areas where skill, equipment, and attention-to-detail genuinely change outcomes.
-
Dentistry and soft tissue surgery are areas we've invested deeply in, and our clients and referring colleagues have come to recognize that. We use modern anesthesia with continuous monitoring, and we take pain management seriously before, during, and after surgery. None of that is flashy. It's just the difference between an okay outcome and a great one.
Our goal is simple: better outcomes, faster recoveries, and pets who feel like themselves again quickly.

For most general practice needs — wellness exams, vaccines, sick visits, urgent care, in-house bloodwork, lab diagnostics, IV fluids, injectable medications, soft tissue surgery, and advanced dentistry — yes!
For cases requiring advanced imaging (CT, MRI), 24-hour ICU monitoring, or board-certified specialty care, we coordinate seamlessly with trusted referral hospitals to make sure your pet always gets the right level of care.

We do offer same-day urgent care for non-life-threatening concerns. Call us! If we can make it work, we will!
-
No; we're a mobile general practice, not an ambulance. Because we operate by scheduled appointments and travel between homes, we aren't able to respond immediately to true emergencies, and we don't offer 24-hour care. If your pet is experiencing a life-threatening emergency such as difficulty breathing, severe bleeding, suspected toxin ingestion, hit by a car, collapse, or anything that can't wait, please go directly to the nearest emergency veterinary hospital.
If it is something that can wait a few hours, we do offer same-day visits

Short answer: no. We can do sedated nail trims and sedated shaves but we are not groomers and it would not be as pretty as they would make it ;)
